Love is the Meditation
I have participated in 100’s of SPIRITUAL WORKSHOPS over my time here in Sydney and Fiji, the most INTENSE EXPERIENCE was throwing myself in Vipashana meditation at Black Heath in the Blue Mountains in the middle of winter 2007, with a badly knee injury at the gym, a test and a LESSON IN LOVE no doubt . My body was not allowing me to sit on a chair so I had no choice but to practise my daily sittings in the TRADITIONAL position. I recall the first sitting, I wanted to run away because the pain was so intense in my hips. However, much to my surprise I heard my mother’s loving and encouraging voice gave me a lot of strength to carry on. After 14 days my determination and perserverance paid off and I was really grateful that I finally got the chance to visit this sacred place after two years of waiting . The main focus of the meditations here was to work on your BREATHE and I found this quite challenging as I had become so used to chanting over the years. We also had to tune into our bodies for any sensation which made it possible for us to see different results of this practise.While I was growing up in Fiji we had regular rituals at the HINDU schools I attended, and at home chanting and PRAYERS were very popular. But here I was facing a difficult task altogether, among was no eye-contact with anyone and no talking. It was only if we had difficulties we were allowed to communicate briefly with a teacher.
Meditation is my CONNECTION TO GODHEAD and my INNER-SELF which holds so many answers to what I want to achieve and share with the world as I am discovering this slowly. This is DISCIPLINE and I am getting better at it, although some days there is RESISTANCE. However, my INNER-PEACE comes from this SACREDNESS, I am whole because of this , and this is my source of INSPIRATION as well. My life would be very meaningless and I feel my soul’s purpose would not be accomplished with meditation and if this part of my karmic contract then I am grateful that I am in it flesh and blood and now there is no turning back. I have to always come back to my heart.
Meditation gave me CLARITY to do what I am involved in today. I delight in this beauty and it’s SIMPLICITY . And from this all things FLOW naturally in my life when I need them for further development. Meditation is an ART and my SILENT PRAYER to the Source, MY PRIMARY RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD/GODDESS . Via this state comes forth great wisdom!!! Such as Love creates beauty and through meditation FORGIVENESS comes easily and when one’s innate talent and gifts are revealed also, such joy is presented which makes one LIMITLESS!!!
I am connected deeper to my own inner truth and innocence and I can LAUGH AT MY MISTAKES. I heal on deeper level, I understand life better and my purpose feels lighter. BALANCING THE HEART AND THE MIND has become so vital for me move forward successfully, I am lost if I don’t meditate daily. But nothing comes easy, I have had to sacrifice a lot also along the way for a GREATER AWARENESS and working towards ASCENSION. And of course I have changed my diet so greatly, my body is healthy as I do not consume any meat or dairy products. This is just another way for me to love myself but its through meditation that I had the strength to bring about this change.
I love being a STUDENT, this world is my playground and my classroom, I love being a TEACHER but what gives me more joy are the moments when I can use of my knowledge and inner-wisdom to help others. Somehow a PEACEFUL ENERGY sweeps over me knowing that what I have endured and learnt can be of assistance to another on their journey. Suddenly things make more sense . When I am IN TUNE I don’t panic and get anxious like I use to (: I feel my relationship with the Divine is more AUTHENTIC this way, almost like a child who is not afraid anymore of anything. I am more open and self-expression becomes so easy. In my heart we have this trust that everything is alright, this keeps my FAITH alive!!! I also find that I have no issues with speaking my truth.
There are many ways to meditate but I feel one should do what feels right for them. Along the path changes will occur and TRANSFORMATION is unavoidable and vital but coming from a loving space within your heart makes this transition very easy. No matter what life throws at you meditation gives you STRENGTH to bear it . So commit , take the plunge and follow your heart and see where she takes you!!! Have you ever thought that you can romance yourself through meditation?
I have learnt to love myself more, and I am not ashamed to say this.. and see my unlimited potentials, and learning to SURRENDER, and to ACCEPT WHAT IS. What am I really saying, love creates more love, as life has taught me LOVE SHOULD BE THE CENTRE OF ALL THINGS!! LOVE IS THE MEDITATION!!! so next time in the those moments of great difficulties connect to your heart and the love you are, this will change everything for you, of course you always have a choice…LIVE YOUR PASSION and make that your meditation! for your highest good of course.
CREATE THE LOVE YOU WANT IN YOUR LIFE, THEN GO FOR THE LIFE YOU WANT TO LIVE !!!

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
